Mission Statement

To promote social justice by providing access to free legal advice, information and assistance which is professional, non-discriminatory and timely to members of the communities of the South West Brisbane area and in particular to socially and economically disadvantaged members within those communities.

History

• The Centre was initially conceived in 1986
• Centre initially located in the civic centre and moved twice, first in 1991 to another office in the same centre and secondly to a new demountable office building located in Wirraway Parade behind the Civic Centre which is its current location.
