Legal Advice: Interpreters can be provided upon request, subject to availability. The South West Brisbane Community Legal Centre offers basic assistance and advice in a range of legal matters including the following:
*Please note as of November 2006 we are no longer able to provide employment advice. The Centre provides initial advice to clients on any matter within the competence of the staff. However, if a relevant specialist Community Legal or other Centre exists within Brisbane the client will be referred there, or to any appropriate Legal Aid Queensland specialist unit. Examples of such matters include tenancy, immigration, welfare rights, criminal compensation. The Centre will not provide advice on the following:
Our solicitors can assist in the preparation of documents such as Wills and Power of Attorneys. They may also provide assistance with documents such as divorce applications, consent orders and others depending on individual circumstances. All documents attract a small fee. Please check our Documents page and our Price list for further information. |
